IKA IKA SURF SCHOOL

We took 4 lessons from here and it was an amazing learning journey. Definitely recommend Marcos as the teacher. He is extremely patient, hardworking, passionate and teaches with all his heart. His kindness and drive to help students made this a memorable experience for us. We learnt many different techniques each day and he made us practise even on skateboard which really gave a great boost of confidence. He has 30 years of surfing experience and his energy is contagious😍. Thanks a lot Marcos for the lovely time. We enjoyed it very much and wish we had more time to learn more from you.

I got my first lesson here, they take thousand ppl at once, can’t even help everyone and answer questions, there’s a one guy especially arrogant. So I found different school which take 2-3 persons per instructor maximum and learned basics and started going on my own. When this school comes to the beach (Playa de Troya) their instructors are aggressive to everyone who is surfing on their own and lying that you can’t surf there. I even asked the lifeguard at the beach and she said it’s not true. They’re lying that you need to take lesson to surf there, so the goal is clear. Extremely shady practices. I never give so negative review, but this is insane. My recommendation is to avoid this place…

The guys are fantastic!! Kind and available for everything you may need!! The atmosphere is super relaxed, everybody just willing to have fun and take buena hondas!! Good prices! Really appreciated, we will come back here for sure! Thanks guys!

Cool school, and José is a great teacher, puts his energy into the classes and pushes you to do your best. Most of all encourages everyone to enjoy the surfing!
